Be Strong

Assalamualaikum

Today, I've headache and need to take cataflam to control it. Thank you Allah, I manage to finish my lecture today for both classes, IMD202 and IMD351. I do hope the students will do well in coming test. All the best to them. And my advice to them is only the strong mind, strong will will survive. So be strong.

Now in only 9th September, still long way to go to the date 25th. Hehe, I need to be patience and smartly use whatever balance of money left in order to survive. Please be strong, Azmi

The long day ahead

We human sometimes can act crazy. We always complain, we do have enough time. Here I am. I've all the time in the world to do and perform all the things that I want to do but still manage to do nothing. I feel sad for myself. I'm not so productive in producing works especially related to academic world.

Sitting alone in this room, staring at the screen, smiling alone. All my friends is still not around, maybe lecturing or on holiday. This situation will go on until the time I need to go home. Day after day, sigh

MInggu yang Kelam Kabut

Minggu yang kelam kabut. Duduk di rumah pun tak senang, banyak benar kontraktor datang pasang itu ini. Nak dok rehat pun tak sempat. Tersengguk2 je. Hari ni pun masih ada kontraktor yang datang pasang air cond   kat rumah. Sekali lagi petang ni, tak boleh nak buat apa-apa pun.

Esok nak pergi ke Kelantan, nak ambil barang-barang yang masih ada ditinggalkan di Machang tu. Lepas nak terus ke Kok Pasir. Sekali lagi akan menjadi pemandu jarak jauh yang berhemah.

Test dan hujan tak henti-henti

Malam ni jaga test 406, soalan dari Puncak Perdana ni memang mencabar sungguh. Apa selamat berjaya kepada semua para pelajar. Anda boleh melakukan. Aircond kat AU200 ni sejuk gila tambahan pula dengan keadaan hujan yang tak henti-henti dah 3 hari. memang menarik

Terasing di bumi sendiri

hari ini aku solat Jumaat di Masjid Negara. Setelah sekian lama tidak singgah ke sana untuk solat Jumaat, akhirnya aku berkesempatan juga. Selepas solat hujan turun dengan lebat menyebabkan hampir semua jemaah terkandas dan terpaksa menanti hujan teduh.

Aku salah seorang dari manusia yang terpaksa juga menunggu. Dalam ribuan manusia itu, tidak seorang pun aku kenal. Memang aku rasa terasa begitu terasing sekali. Mungkin bumi Kuala Lumpur ini tidak sesuai untuk aku lagi

I Can Bring The Horse to the water, But I can't force the horse to drink the water

This semester is coming to an end. It is already October and examination will start on the third week of this month. This the hell time for the students with all the replacement classes and submission of projects and assignment are just round the corner. To all students, this normal in any student's life. Don't get panic. Just press on. The reward is you will get your holiday in November and December.

Yesterday, the online test using I-Learn is held. All is OK but of course, new thing for the students. It start a little bit slow, the progress and result are fantastic. But, there are some fail to take test. Even for part time students, there are some missing. For some unknown reason, they mysteriously disappear. Well! there will no back up test. Pity them, they are losing 20 marks out 100. They choose their own destiny.

As a lecturer, I try my best to accommodate all the shortcomings of the students but as I always said, I can bring the horse to the water but I can't force the horse to drink the water. I'm only a facilitator but it is up to the students to grab all the opportunities given.
